We've had a few of these polls already. Does anybody really expect Fender to lose a contest like this on the Fender Forum?!

I would also include Godin in the mix. I own both Fender and Godin brand guitars.

shastaboy, you seem to have some kind of fixation on the concept of the "best" of something.

Since there is no such thing, you should maybe give up on that.

Well, Fender's a better company in my opnion because they have versatility, quality, variety, and their stuff is less expensive than some of these other brands. The company's good at making sure you get what you want. They definately need to fix their acoustic line though, make more mandos. My made in korea mando really doesn't cut it. :?

I third Jim's reply- it seems like you can't think of anything to post- so let's post a who is, what is, where is ...the best ...
The worst part is they can't post just one "best" it's gotta be a whole freaking string from the best guitar to the best player to the best peanut butter- sheesh!! Enough already!!

Shastaboy.
If your bored and want to post something then why not open a discussion about any of your equiptment. Dont worry if it didnt cost megabucks, we've all used stuff that wasnt expensive. I still do.

Tell us about yourself mate, no-one really likes polls. But you are welcome here.

Nik

There is no "best," but I think we can all agree that a Les Paul or a strat is better than a squier.

In my opinion, Fender takes the win for the greatest guitar: the telecaster. It suits my music therefore I view it as the best.

But for the best company I'd have to say it is probably Gibson. I say that because I'm sort of angry at Fender for going un-American, the same way I'm angry at C.F Martin for going un-American. It just annoys me when companies do that because the quality will never be the same as being made in America no matter what you tell me. The standard stratocaster is made in Mexico. You have to get the special "American" version in order to get a USA-made guitar. Just me personally, I feel an American company, especially one that advertises being American, should make its standard guitars in the country it is headquartered in. I highly respect this about Gibson.

Basically though I like Gibson acoustics and Fender electrics.

Come on people...You post a post like what is the best brand on a Fender site. I think Fender will win this one.

I'll keep an eye on this one just in case Fender is not the winner.
