Is a Fender from 2006 with 21 frets not an orginal? On the Internet I find everywhere that they must have 22 frets! Is that true?

Lots of Fender models have 21 frets. However, the American Standard has 22 frets (as do American Deluxe, Highway 1 and American Special models as well as several various Custom Shop models).

Are you sure it is an AMERICAN Standard and not just a Standard (made in Mexico) Strat?

If you are referring to the one in your other post - that one doesn't add up to an American-made Fender. The photos are pretty bad, but it looks like some type of parts guitar with a counterfit Fender CS certificate.
