Hello,

I was wondering how much the MIJ (or CIJ) '62 reissue strats would sell for in the US; new and old.

Ebay gave me a few ranging from the upper $600 to even $1000's, so I couldn't quite get a good estimate.

Please help me oh omniscient people of Strat forum :D

New ones here in Japan run from about 54500 yen ($600) to 120000 yen($1300) the wood and the pickups set the price. I can get a st-62-tx (texas specials/alder body) for 74500 yen ($825).

Thank you for your help!

Is there an alder one with a more vintage styled pickup, by any chance?

I checked out that one, but didn't know what "medium scale" meant...

Is it a shorter scale compared to the non medium scale versions?

And again, thank you for your help :D
