If you want to stick with single coils probably Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro. If you're into blues maybe the Texas Specials.

Hot Gold lace sensors have that clear single coil strat tone perfectly balanced without the 60 cycle hum. They go beyond the range of blues and rock. Its the epitome of a strat tone, plus it can handle the heavy distortion. I use 'em in my #1 strat and love them.

I have Vintage Noiseless in mine and I love 'em. Beautiful, natural Strat tone and super quiet.

I'm a bit biased here, but I've never been a fan of vintage noiseless.

Hi, Check out copperheadpickups.com These are hand wound to vintage spec pups, they sound incredible and you wont find a better guy to deal with!! only $135 a set. If you like true vintage strat sounds then get these. I have the 1959 set.
