So true, but I predict Fender to get caught up on its 2010 orders by the end of September.

At this time Fender is predicting 90 day delivery dates on all orders. Previous orders were taking 6 months.

. . . I am waiting on my Am. Deluxe.

I hope it is ONLY 90 days :?

When did you order the Am. Deluxe?
Not trying to be a smartazz, but, if you just ordered it recently, you better leave some room under/next-to the Christmas tree, just in case.
If Fender is like most manuf., they don't make all models all
the time.

I just ordered it a week or so ago. I am well aware of the delays since the last order took 6 months. That's why I said I hope it is only 90 days . . . 90 days is the current prediction from Fender.

It's all good. I am willing to wait as long as necessary.
