Hello,

I searched but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I had a tech quote me a price of $300 to replace my frets on MIM Strat. This seemed very high to me....

My question is... What should a refret cost (on avg).

Thats lower then most. It is cheaper to buy a neck. I would charge 340. to 380. or 20. per fret up to 5

Yeah thats what I was thinking. But I want the med jumbo frets and I dont think the MIM come with them.

Besides I'm customizing my MIM and really dont need a new one. I just like the med jumbo frets on my MIA and wanted to try and get them on my MIM.

Hmmm.

My mistake. I thought that was one of the differences. Mine is a 2004 however. Maybe the newer ones do?

That's a decent price for a complete fret job.
