OK, drooling freely now! :D While we're at it, what's that guitar disappearing out the right of the picture please, Jeff?

Anyway: carry on. Stand back a little, people: masterbuilder coming through! 8)

Mr. C, that is a Hamer that has two humbuckers, a Seymour Duncan acoustic bridge pickup and a Roland midi-interface. I posted the last two pictures especially for you as I know you like to "look around"!!!

Ha - do you know, I wondered if it was a Hamer? I should have said so; then I'd have looked smart! Something like this, perhaps?

Never seen a Roland-ready Hamer though. Interesting...

Ah yes: All over again I was noticing that Tintin picture in one of your pictures of the worktop. I remember the story behind that... :D

Lot of us looking at your workshop with a mixture of pleasure and envy! 8)

Cheers - C

Howdy Mr X!

That looks great with the maple neck and I'm a real fan of the switching options you've got there. I do like coils taping humbuckers and was wondering, how does the Air Norton sound once split?

So just a few projects on the go then, eh, Mr X? I like your style Sir! 8)

Oooh, and once Randel the Cat has finished with my sofa he'd be more than happy to test out your work bench. :D

I wish it were THAT Hamer! but mine is a Made in Korea that I rewired. The Roland is a G-(umm, something) attached to the body and connects to a synth. I used it for recording weird Asian sounds for ambient back tracks for video.

Andy, i will get "Fire Engine" out there to do some scratching. He is the biggest, fattest, Mainecoon you have ever seen! I am watching your thread with interest. Tell me when you package comes in too, ok????

Oh, I just picked up one of those rare Telecaster Plus Deluxe with the bound top, 3 pickups, and beveled back in black for $750! I will post some picts when she comes in.

Umm, that does that spell? I think "You Lucky Guy" in French? Vous enfoiré ! LOL!!! My very first Tele Plus.....after all these years of owning Strat Plus'.... I always wanted one that had the tremolo system in it, but this one does not have that. Here is a very poor pict of it from the owner:

Good score xhefri- congrats!! they are an impossibility down here- there was a series 1 tele plus for sale here recently that was soo butchered, it wasnt worth the money. even the bridge was swapped out for a brass bridge that had a traditional tele pickup in it- the finish looked horrible and the guy wanted too much for it. even in australia they are impossible to find.

Nice work!

Do you know much about these? I know there is the "Radio Head" version with one Blue in the neck and a Red Dually in the bridge with the 3-way Ultra type mini-switch and then there were the Tremolo models and then the ones like this. I was told these were made for 2 years only—1996-97. but not sure if that is true. I will do some digging, but any info you might have would be appreciated. Mine is a 97...

Others could tell you, but the dually red/red single blue with hard tail and 'ultra' mini switch is the Tele Plus. That is the model Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead plays :)

The model with the deluxe trem, wilkinson/LSR nut is the Tele Plus Deluxe.

The model you have, is the version 2 plus, which was discontinued in late '97. The model had incarnations- the deluxe tele, the b-bender tele, the american power tele and now the deluxe tele and deluxe power tele. Alkl without Lace Sensors

The plus deluxe had the trem, locking tuners and roller nut & the ash laminate though I am not too sure of other appointments it had. Oh- also a belly cut & Hipshot Tremsetter :)
