I have just bought a new Fender Deluxe Power strat. I am a tremolo user and on my last Squier strat the tremolo seemed to have greater pitch range downwards, unless i'm imagining things. On my Fender Deluxe Power strat the tremolo goes down to a tiny bit more than one whole tone/step. Is this standard? It doesn't feel like much

Your bridge is fully floating?

How much spring (claw) tension you have determines how far it goes in either direction. How high the bridge is sitting is a visual indicator.

You may want to standardize how you setup your guitars so playing between them feels the same. Depends if you do more upward bends or downward bends I guess.
