Just caught Primus in Omaha last night (my 8th time seeing them). Looks like Mr. Ler is exclusively Fender now. Saw 3-4 Stratocasters, and a few Telecasters as well. Seems like he was changing guitars every song.
I have always wondered what an artist gets in turn for promoting a big company like Fender.
I would be willing to promote Fender exclusively in exchange for a handful of amps and a dozen or so guitars. Just throwing it out there in case anyone from the marketing department is browsing the forum.

What they get in turn are the best guitar designs available. Leo and his team were right from the start with his body shapes..necks..all that.

We'd all like to have a deal promoting Fender gear but unfortunately we're all not famous enough to entice people to buy Fender gear when people see us playing it.Primus is simply incredible, the bass player is wild an absolute wizard on bass.

Primus is on tour now. Just played Omaha and Kansas City. You can download a free EP on their website.

I'm going to head up to the Twin Cities for Primus' 10-01-10 show at the Orpheum. If any other forum members are thinking of attending, PM me, maybe well jam and have a beer before the show.
