fender 2010 hr deville and fender classic series 60s 2008 i believe placid blue.

sold some gear, paid about 1000 for both, the deville is brand new.
the classic series was used, well pretty new. the previous owner had it set up with 8's, intonation was way off, action was pretty good.

i thought they were 9's i restrung it w 9s it came with only because i wasnt up to doing a complete setup w 10s, to my surprise the bridge came up like 20 degrees, so right away i knew they lighter gauge.

all in all, i had to do a complete setup.
the pickups are very bright. luckily i have a bright switch on the amp.
i bought so it can be my modder. under 400 bucks.
suggestions on pickups....

Custom Shop 57/62's plus a steel trem block for the bridge and you'll be set for life.

Nice choice of color on the guitar.

Stick a set of Texas Specials on this baby and add a hint of grit in your tone.

Do you own a set of Texas Specials?

I've pulled some half dozen sets of these out of customers' guitars who thought they sounded like RAW FOOKIN' AZZ and couldn't be rid of them quick enough.

Two of my strats have Texas Specials installed and I agree 100% with Chrome.
