A Fender Special Run American Standard Strat with advanced electronics.
The 2010 FSR American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar with TBX & Active Mid-Boost features a lightweight alder body that is secured to the modern C-shaped maple neck with a solid traditional 4-bolt joint. A 22-fret maple fingerboard has hand-rolled edges for smooth and comfortable playability. Chrome hardware includes staggered Fender deluxe cast/sealed tuning machines and American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo. Comes with a molded Fender-exclusive/SKB case, strap, cable, and polishing cloth.

VIntage Noiseless Pickups
This 2010 FSR (Fender Special Run) is powered by three Vintage Noiseless pickups with Fender's TBX (Treble Bass Expander) on tone control one and Fender's Active Mid-Boost preamp (controlled by tone control two) to enhance the tonal palette of this outstanding instrument. The TBX (Treble Bass Expander) is a detented, stacked 250K / 1-Meg Pot control that From "0" to "5" is a standard tone control, but once you pass "5" you start to decrease the resistance which allows more bass, treble, presence and output to flow to your amp. The Active Mid-Boost preamp circuit makes that great Strat sound jump right out at low settings and gets fatter—like an overdriven humbucking pickup—as the gain level is raised yet still retain more of a single-coil Strat tone and transparency.

Fender Special Run products are guitars customized to the specs desired by specific dealers. The Fender custom shop offers customization options in the type of wood for the body, neck type, pickups, finish, color and tuners.
