i have a greenish gray strat with a seymour duncan in the bridge. I don't know what it is though. I think its a pearly gates or duncan distortion but i don know is there any way to find out

Look for a sticker or model embossed on the back of the pickup.

There are several models that look the same. Its the only way of telling aside from checking the resistance but then you might as well look up the model.

It doesn't look to be a trembucker, as the polls are too close together.

The only way to really know is to remove the pickguard and read the model or number on the bottom.
