Just gotta say they make my 2008 AM Standard sing like nothing I have played... This guitar was thin and wimpy compared to my tele and now it chimes like a bell.

Cant praise these enough, bye them now if you like chime, bell like sounds, clean wonderful tone and a sound that just floats off your strings! They make you sound better and worse at the same time... amazing pups.

Low output pickups are the way to go, for sure.

What kind of amp(s) are you using?

I ended up with a set of CS '69s as the result of a trade. Without an immediate use for them I swapped all three into my MIJ 12-string Strat. Not surprisingly, they really shine in that guitar. Perhaps not quite the jangle I'd get from a set of DeArmond "toasters" on a Ric 360-12 but they really woke things up -- much more focused and articulate than the OEM pickups. I've also played a friend's CS '69 re-issue Strat that had them and they sounded superb, especially through a Super Reverb or an AC30TB.

Put me down as another fan of CS 69s. I have a set in a Classic Player 60s Strat and they sound fantastic through my two favorite Fender tube amps... '65 Twin Custom 15 and Deluxe Reverb Reissues.

I'm glad to hear these positive reports - my H1 Strat is in the shop right now having a set of these installed, and I'm looking forward to playing it when the job's done.

Vox AC15 C1... the newest version with the greenback speaker. Great little amp.

At some point I would love to have a nice fender amp for the classic fender cleans but thats quite a ways away.
