I have no idea what you're asking about. Are you talking about new models announced in 2010 and when they will be hitting stores? As fas as I am aware every new item so far this year is available to retailers. Any particular one you are looking for?

2010 HSS Amber with rosewood board
go to GC.com, zz.com, mf.com - can you buy one ?
I have been watching them since April at least !
I even made the dude at my local gc laugh when i asked if the 2010s were going to be out before 2011.
He knew exactly what I meant.

Ya, I know, August 9th hahahaahahahaahaha

Oooh. That is a new one I wasn't aware of. Anyone from Fender care to answer?

I heard something about paint defects this year causing a lot of guitars to be scrapped or on hold

Perhaps you're talking about the American Deluxe series.

The Amber HSS is already available with both rosewood or maple fretboards and black micarta or white MOP dots.

My candy cola finally came in today, ordered in February. I decided not to get it.

I told the guy I really wanted an American Deluxe Ash . . . so I guess I got another 90 days or so.

Now he has a CC to sell, but he says that shouldn't be a problem.

I have the think this must be hurting fender. I have several guitars already so I don't really need the one that I have had on backorder since April. So, it doesn't hurt me to wait but it also wouldn't kill me to cancel the order and buy a guitar from another company.

I like fenders a lot. In the future if I see one in a store I like I will buy it but I can't imagine ever ording a Fender again.

That said, my mood will probably improve when/if my guitar ever arrives.
