I´m quoting in the lineup for $199. I already got a Digitech RP255 witch is nice sounding dispite the artificial feel.
I´m thinking now in getting a Boss ME-25 or a Digitech RP355 to run with a Fender Pro Jr and a Fender Highway One Stratocaster.

Show me your thoughts people!

Well, I've a Digitech GNX3000 which allows me to obtain any sound I want, from sweet BB King blues to SRV grit and so on.

If the digitech is that superior in the end, should then i keep my RP255 instead of just exchanging for a RP355 taking place it have the same hardware specs ?
I would trade it for a Boss ME-25 if i you guys can tell me that this is way better then my RP255. I´m really interested in AMP simulators and other bell like effects, not much into distortions.

until about a month ago, i owned the rp-350. it is a great unit.

i then spotted a boss me-50, used but in great shape, for 99.00 i took it home and am very happy..

my reason for going to the boss is 1 word- simplicity. i don't have to scroll thru screens to change a setting! it has enough presets, and i can turn modulation, delay, and distortion on and off instantly.

makes my life easier, and at my age that's important.

Yeah, today i woke up thinking "BOSS".
Yesterday i was kinda looking for the Vox Tonelab ST, for its tube sound quality, but the lack of mix effects just drop that thought off.
I really believe that the boss me-25 could be superior quality sounding by the digitech rp355, now you telling me that its really easy to use, is buying me.
I actually own a RP255 and its good. But i think it sounds too digital / artificial. Does Boss sounds more natural in that matter ?

I have both and will be honest, the RP355 is a much better unit. More features and better built IMO. Plus the sounds are much nicer.
ABS :D

You might be able to find a comparison on youtube. If you want the stomp box ability of on/off like the Boss ME, you can always go to the Digitech RP500 or RP1000. RP500 can be found used for the same price as a new RP355. You could go that route too.

I've got the RP-500 and found it easy to set-up and use. Sound wise better than any other I have used with out getting into a whole stomp box rig.

The stomp box think is not really the thing for me.
I'm looking for a multipedal that has the better sounds, as for amp simulators and effects and have usb connection for about $200 bucks.

Regardless of Boss or Digitech, I want the best sounding one.

I must ask because ill buy it online and send to brazil. I really would like to go to GC and test every multi effect they got, but its virtually impossible.

Any suggestions will be fine, probably Ill be running it thought the ProJR.
