Thanks for all the nice comments guys. My wife does know that I appreciate her. I'm looking forward to the arrival of this Strat. Always liked the Vintage White. For me its a classic color for a Strat. I remember there was one in the movie Spring Break in the 1980's and I've always wanted one in an American Standard model.

I was showing her a picture of one on another site and I wasnt quite ready to pull the trigger. Before I knew it she pulled the trigger for me. I'm not complaining though. This site has a better photo. Color seems pretty rare these days on an American Standard. Vintage White has always been a favorite of mine.

Received the guitar yesterday, and I like it alot. The color looks more like a soft yellow. Sounds and plays great right out of the box. I e-mailed Jeff in Fender Customer Relations to get some additional info. He was very quick to respond. This guitar is one of a 30 piece run for domestic dealers. I'm extremely happy to have one of only 30 made. 8)

Hi Randy,

Congrats! I too like the vintage white. I have a vintage white partscaster, Rosewood neck, with a black pickguard and aged Lace Hot Golds and knobs. Its like coffee and cream...yummy :D

I also have a lovey girlfriend (been together so long now we might as well be married!) who bought me one of these...

Here are a few not so professional photos on the new guitar. According to Fender it is one of a special run of 30 guitars to domestic dealers. I usually dont get too excited about a new guitar, because it takes a while to set it up and bond with it. I got lucky on this one and setup was ideal for me right out of the box. Color in the photos is fairly close to the way it looks in person, more of a soft yellow.
