Just so you know how it's done:

M = Mexican;
N = Nineties and 9 = the year in the '90s, or '99;
The rest of the digits are the actual serial no.

The 'Z' stands for zero. For example, a guitar made this year in Mexico would have a serial no. that began MZ7.
