Sorry, I get all excited about these things. So it is a Jackson? Hmm, potential. Franken-strat it. It's hard to get an ash body to sound bad, IMO of course. Since my next two projects are alder, I guess I have to make due. I am shooting for an ash for the relic for 2 reasons..sound and looks as lots of wood will be exposed, more then paint and it needs to look right. Need something grainy/porous. As far as aging the crap out of it.,I have a few theories which if they fail, will mean the body goes into the dumpster or used as firewood. Strat smoked burgers anyone?
