last night i was watching live in gnask.
felt like watching something mellow. i love david's simplicity yet so complex phrasing. he was using the red one with emgs for shine on crazy diamond.
talk about gas, his tone was simply awesome....

where can i get a set of his fingers for phrasing, and tone???lol

Maybe he filled out an organ donor card......? But, if we are all lucky, it will be many years before his fingers would be donated!

David Gilmour is definitely one of the greatest guitar players/artists of all time! I going to go and get "comfortably numb" right now. ;)

According to the official David Gilmore web site, he will be doing a live chat session on the 28th in the UK.

So I will assume he is at home, there are no concert dates for him, so as sad as it may sound, he will be using those fingers to do a web chat.

Please I would like to order a set of Vintage Gilmour Fingers with Narrowed Spaced for slick playing.
How long they will keep fresh for playing until starts to decompose?

The best bet is the local "chop shop"

I agree. Nobody sings with their hands like Gilmour. 8)

I'm not a big gilmour fan, however I love his solos and
phrasing.
Like castellirazon and marooned. and pink Floyd favorites.
He's not fast but his solos impact my senses.
Damn, I need a delay pedal and an octive pedal....

Jeff Beck is the same way...

What I wouldn't give to play like that...

Anybody know, does Gilmour use a pick, fingers or whatever the situation dictates?

Although Gilmour has talented fingers I think that his ability to play like that comes from deep in his soul,so along with his fingers you'd need his heart too.
