Good evening all, Hi I have a question :?: concerning my Strat.

For insurance purposit, I need to declare my Strat at the agency. As I bought it second hand, I am not shure about the model i have.

Devenently it is a Strat. Sunburst . Serial Number is known, it was build in 1994, made in USA. The neck is fair wood, but the frettboard is brown.

The two little brackets holding down the E B G D Strings are looking like having little "balls" at the left and right end.

On the metall part with the 4 screws on the back which are mounting the neck is a signature of Fender. I can add mor informations if you need.

Sorry for my english  , but for that, I promise, I speak german very well  !!

Besten Dank für Eure Hilfe
Frank

Good idea, I will post some fotos soon
Regards
Frank

Could be a Hwy 1?

Frank - if you have your photos up on photobucket when you get the dropdowns the very bottom one has the IMG codes attached.

If you are using another hosting site use the "Img" button in the posting window - right under the "subject" line there are nine "buttons"; you click the "Img" button, then insert the URL of the photo, then click the "Img" button again to close the code. You could also type these codes:

[/IMG]

around the URL of your photo.

My guess would be a Standard Stratocaster.

It won't be a Plus because of the string trees.
Not a MIM because he said made in USA.
Not a 62 reissue because of the string trees.
Not an anniversary because of the neck plate.

Without a photo it is too hard to guess.

Thanks

It is a nice USA standard at that. And the serial number indicates it is a 1993 USA model.

Glad to have helped you get the photos up.

As the others have said - 1993 American Standard Strat. Nice guitar! :)

I'm inclined to agree with everyone else, '93 American Standard. Lift the pick guard. Are there three pick-up cavities or just one big one? If we're all right it will be one big cavity.
