Hey, fellow strat-aholics! Happy weekend!

I know the headstock is different because of the elimination of the string-trees, but I'm wondering if anyone who has both models can tell that much difference.

Does the EJ headstock drop off that much more than the regular?

Are there any side-by-side pics out there? If not, I guess I'll have to make a run to GC.

I have the American Std but am considering buying the EJ model because I like the flatter fretboard.

Thx,
D

The "waterfall" rolls further downward approximately 1.5 mm from a stock Strat headstock -- almost imperceptible until you view the EJ side-by-side with a vintage-style '50s or '60s guitar.
