my new american standard strat in olympic white with maple neck showed up last night......no pictures yet, but I'll have them tonight.

What an incredible guitar, i was going to buy a cs strat but then started to do all the comparisons....now, I have had 57 re-issues , 62 re-issues and a 57 hotrod...let me tell you, this strat can hold up to any of them , even a cs. The american standard IS the standard, imo.

pictures coming soon.

I'd get an American Std. if I could get it in CAR. The closest the current line has to this now is Candy Cola.

Glad to hear your liking yours - they are great guitars.

I find that everyone has their own idea about what is THE Strat sound. I really dig my 50th Anniversary Strat. It looks great and has such a great clean tone.

I built a Strat with Texas Specials and I felt at the time that was THE Strat tone for me, but it is ever changing with my tastes.

Adding my congrats to the reply's. Had my Amer. Strat for 6 months and love it.

Play with the Delta Tone knob when using pickup arrangements. Adds flavor.
