I am considering another Strat. Custom Shop models are not out of the question, nor Artist models.

I would like CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN tones. Single coil obviously. I LOVE the back of my Clapton neck, but I am thinking a 12" radius. Maple neck. (Not negotiable)

If you want a 12" radius, the KWS signature strat is the way to go. Very, very few none custom shop models, if any (beside KWS) has a 12" radius. But since you like maple, your out of luck unless you want a Deluxe strat with its compound radius. The KWS line has really good pickups too. But you color choices won't work. As for pickups, your tone is a clean as your playing... A good guitarist can have the gain on full blast, yet make the guitar sound clean... Bottom line, you're best bet is a parts0caster to fit your bill... Make your own strat....
