Hello fenderholics,

I have a standard strat 2009 placid lake blue and i want to change the pickguard for a tortoise or a black one. I've tried some virual simulators and they suck so PLEASE IF YOU HAVE PICTURES OF A LAKE PLACID BLUE STRAT with a TORTOISE or BLACK pickguar post it HERE.

I think i'll get te TORTOISE...

I have a LPB Strat and have the parchment p/g on it,and to me it looked better than the stock white.
I don't think I would like the tortoise or black on it at all...I have thought about putting a mint p/g on it.

I would not pick the black guard.... Too much of a color clash. I think the Lake Placid Blue looks best with a standard white guard.

On this '09 LPB, white pearl got my vote - but it was a tough call over the stock Parchment! - which I like better then white, although that is indeed clean looking.

I like the white perloid look better. Seems like a better fit to help the guitar pop out. I do wonder what it would look like if the pickup covers, and control covers were vintage instead of white??? Hmmm....
