You can google for others, but my experience with Jay Abend and GFS has been good :

Although the Road Worn is MIM, be sure to get the USA vintage spaced block for it. The Road Worns have the bigger USA spacing

just curious as to why you want to replace the stock one. Is it because of strength, sound or what :?:

Replaced the whole bridge in my RW 60s with a Callaham "Distressed" model to match the worn look of the guitar. Sustain and tone both much improved. Great combination with the Tex-Mex pickups, mmmmmmmm, Tex-Mex. Gurgle. As someone said above, the RW has the wider 2-3/16 inch string spacing.

Yes, 2-7/32 inch is correct too, depending on who measures. I have heard the wider string spacing referred to as both 2-3/16 inch and 2-7/32 inch. I guess that my plastic calipers aren't that accurate, so I say 2-3/16. Just know that there are 2 sizes of spacing typically, narrow (2-1/16 inch) and wide (2-3/16 or 2-7/32 inch). Always best to measure to see which you have, narrow or wide.

No, the block isn't steel in the stock guitar, put a magnet to it and see if it attracts, staying clear of the springs which are steel. The block is cast, and there is steel in there, but not much. Fender uses the cast blocks in a lot of guitars. Check out the new American Standard block, "Cast Copper Infused Mass Bridge Block". Yuck!

A lot of import blocks are made of cast magnesium. There is no comparison between those (and the American blocks for that matter), and the thick, beautifully machines slab of cold rolled steel used to make the Callaham blocks. I installed one in my AD strat and it came to life. A lot of people don't really care for the SCN pickups in late model AD's, nor the N3's in the new ones, but I guarantee that if you try a Callaham block (and replace the cast saddles on the AD with the SS saddles as well), you will not believe the difference in your guitar. The sparkle, sustain and overall crisper tone make it a whole differnet guitar. More effective than most pickup upgrades, IMO. Give the Callaham stuff a try and you won't be disappointed!
