I wouldnt be to quick to say super bullets....the 2010 deluxe I got had colored ball ends

I would - its in the specs on the 2010, was in the specs in 08, were on my '07, and are on my '09 Am Stndrd and are speced in the 2010 Am Stndrd & Highway 1.

What was on the sticker on the trem cover on yours?

Why would Fender use someone else's brand strings?

Those colored-ball (Daddario?) strings are good though - I have used them before!

I cant say why fender would use a different string.....and as i said im not 100% sure a string or two wasnt broke when GC got it and they put a new set on....but what i do know they WAS NOT super bullets ..when i did change them two weeks or so later they had colored balls on the ends (I only use Ernie Balls so im not sure what brands has that) so i look here under the products for the Am. Deluxe HSS and at that time even this sight did not list them as super bullets

Ahh - I see what you are saying - just because/even if they came from the factory with Superbullets does not mean that is what was on there when he/you bought it! I also see that they were not always specing Super bullets.

In that case then - the correct answer is 'no idea what was on them'. :) (although the colored ones are likely D'Addario).

Had a set of those on a new Gibson, but knew that had been at the strore for a while - anyway, they sounded great.

BTW, they used to put a sticker on the rear of the guitar saying what strings it originally came with...is this no longer the case on the 2010?
