I have found nothing wrong with the Fender Supers, and the bullets are nice for the trem block.

You can try other brands of course, and others have their faves - but man, there are a lot!

I have tried many different strings over the years, the best (IMHO) is the D'Addario XL in 9.5.

They bend easier and stay in tune and i have only broken 2 of them in 10 years of playing. (I do regularly change my strings, about three months on average.)

I wouldnt be to quick to say super bullets....the 2010 deluxe I got had colored ball ends.

I dont like the feel of super bullets....but i liked the feel of what was on the deluxe.

also when i checked to see what they were, at that time super bullets wasnt listed in the specks (i cant remember what was, but when i went to hunt them up on GC page...it stated that they wasnt made anymore)

I am not going to say that GC didnt change the strings on mine. But i dont see why they would (from what I was told they just got them in the day I got it)

Is this the first time you have ever changed strings? Or just the first time on this guitar? If it's the former, just get the same Fender strings listed above or any other brand (but stick to the 9-42 gauge) that came stock on your guitar, so it will keep the same tension on your neck and bridge. Otherwise you might have to give your guitar a complete set up. Once you get more accustomed to the guitar, then maybe experiment with other guages until you find what is right for YOU.
If it's the latter, then set up your Strat for whatever string gauge you prefer or keep it simple and use whatever you have on your other guitars so you don't have to buy different string sets for each guitar.

You have to grasp the string down close to the saddle and work at it, but it'll come free. I personally use D'Addario XL 120's (.009-.042) and can't recommend them enough! I normally get mine in the 10 pack from Sweetwater for $35-$40 with free shipping. Incidentally, if strings have colored ball ends, they are most likely D'Addarios.

Cheers! Enjoy that guitar!

I do two at a time that way it keeps enough pull on the bridge that I can fit them through the slot on the bridge cover....Im not sure there is a right way.....just if you take all of them off at once (depending how the bridge is set) it could make it harder (not that it cant be done) but harder to restring
