Hello!
I am about to purchase my first Strat after all these years.
I am interested in the American Deluxe Ash strat but would rather have HSS pick configs.
I was told by someone that the Deluxe Ash strat is routed for HSH under the pick guard and it should not be a problem to install a Humbucker in the bridge position.

The stock guitar comes in SSS config, so i wanted to confirm this.
Also, where can i find the exact same pickguard as the USA Deluxe HSS model, to put in a Deluxe Ash strat ?

I got a loaded pickguard with Fralins from these guys for my Deluxe Ash, but it's SSS, they have just about any combination available.

I'm not sure about the routing options, I had them do the install on my Strat.

I have an Am Ash Dlx and it does indeed have HSH routing.
