Post subject: Pickup help for 50' REISSUE GOLD STRAT 2005

Hello all,

If anyone has some insight to the pickups for this guitar.

All three pickups have the same black and white wiring. The guitar also has a 5 way switch. I replaced the neck pickup with a Kinman Scn it sounds great but now the middle pickup is out of phase. The Dimarzio tone zone S I put in the bridge works fine as I reversed the red and green wires, and plenty of quack. Am I stuck with this problem having the Kinman and Dimarzio in the same guitar?

Welcome.

No, you are not. Reverse the black and white wires of your middle pickup and once again, reverse the red and green wires of the DiMarzio.
