I think this company is confusing this strat with the Gretsch "Frying Pan".

You mean the RICKENBACKER "Frying Pan"? I can hear the bacon sizzling now. I'm getting hungry.

Thanks! It's just a natural '79 hardtail with rosewood, nothing special :) but it is special to me, it was my first guitar and I hope I can still play it for a very long time.

yeah over the years the finish has gotten warmer... not long ago I saw this one at the local GC that they got on a trade, very nice finish, also a '79.

What exactly defines "too much sizzle"?

My suggestion would be to make sure you bring enough Steak for that Sizzle.

If you've only played up to 12oz, it's time to Step it up to a 24oz one! =)

Just play it and love it. Sounds like nonsense marketing to me.

Perhaps he'd use the tone controls on his amplifier to get sound he desired?

Or perhaps he'd turn to his right an ask what Hendrix thinks of the matter.

Jeff. If I may.......

An Opinion is like a noise, everyone has one, they all smell, and it's up to you to pick it.

And you should never let your friends pick it for you. :D
