I see that they are back under the Product Listing, but not offered in Black.
Is the black no longer in production, anyone know ?

When I ordered mine a while back (likely going on 6 weeks now..?) the fellow who was serving me had searched the back for any HR57's. His computer claimed that they had a black one in stock, but he returned having not found it. He explained that he guessed his computer needed an update (No matter to me, I wanted one in two-tone sunburst).

While this information isn't exactly conclusive, I can say that Long&McQuade's computer still had the black finish option on file a little over a month ago.

For a straight answer I would just call your nearest dealer tomorrow to see if they can still get one for you.

I've checked several websites and don't see them offered in black, just CAR and burst. Glad I already got mine.

......or write fender@consumerrelations.com. They're the ones who told me that the product listing wanted updating.
