Question. Can you put a new neck (Fender/Warmoth/etc.) on a Squire Strat? I found one used for a great price, but it has a rosewood neck and I like a maple neck. any info would very appreciated.
Thanks.

Buy it with no screwholes and make it fit. C'mon, Its a Squire, As a matter of fact, you would be better off buying another Squire used, with a maple neck from GC or Craigslist and switching parts. A used Squire must go for about $75. or $100. A new Warmoth neck is at least $250. to $300. Easy. You are better off with the used Squire. They are a dime a dozen. 8)

With a Hammer and chainsaw i can make anything fit anything. :)

Yes it can be done, but that neck will triple the value.

At that point you could buy a new MIM strat.

If you don't mind a generic neck then these can be had a good price....

This one here is gloss finished and on sale for 42.95.

That would keep the cost in line.
