I've got a 2009 American Deluxe Ash Strat, and I've been looking into getting a guitar stand for it. A lot of stands indicate they shouldn't be used with a guitar with a nitrocellulose finish. I can't seem to find any info on what sort of finish comes on the American Deluxe Ash Strats. Anyone have an idea?

It's polyurethane and is safe for any guitar stand. I was just going to post a link, but it appears that Fender removed the finish info from the Am Dlx on this site. It used to be on the "Specs" tab when you looked a guitar up in the Products section on here.

Basically all regular production USA Fenders have a polyurethane body and neck except Vintage Reissues, Highway 1, and various artist signature guitars.

Mexican Fenders are polyester body with polyurethane neck except for the Roadword series.
