After weeks of my tele dominating as my go to guitar, I had to learn "Deep Purple - Burn".

Well I picked up my strat (because no ones playing richie blackmore on a tele), and still wasn't feelin it. got out my allen key and raised the action a bit on the G,B and High E strings. WELLL there we go!

Apparently over 8 months my action moved ever so slightly. Got it back up and theres that sustaining bell like tones again. Needless to say I'm picking some Bach inspired triplets on the strat right now.

Just thought I'd let you all know, lower isn't always better when it comes to string action.

PS Line 6 Pod XT Plexi Amp Mod gets remarkably close to the sound of a Marshall Major.

After I play mine for a few days, The G string saddle always drops a little and I get fret buzz around the 9th, 10th & 11th Frets. I have the old six screw style trem, and I have to adjust it quite a bit. I guess it's time for new saddles,or maybe just the adjustment screws, but I am waiting to buy a Callaham Trem for a replacement.

Excellent choice, Marvin. I can't recommend the Callaham stuff highly enough! Prepare to be blown away!
