Hey everyone, Today I bought my first strat. It's a mexican. I did some research and I'm still not sure what I have here. The guy I bought it from told me it's a '95, but I've figured out that it's gotta be  '96. It has the serial # on the front...MN5205561....The 50th anniversary sticker on the back of the headstock, 3 single coil pickups. The tuners are supposedly original, but they are the Fender tuners sort of remind me of Grovers. I'm not too up on all the ways of identifying all the different models. Can anybody help me figure out exactly what I have here? Much appreciated!

If you go to the links on this forum on the top of the page, Click on - Support- and then on there on the left you will see product dating and consumer relations, You can E-Mail or call Fender on the Phone. I called and they told me everything about my Roadhouse Strat from the serial number. Very helpful. Then you can go and enter your year and model and get all the Stock spec of your Guitar. I hope that helps. 8)

Great, Thanks for your help guys. I've done a little more digging and it's definitely a 50th anniversary (of Fender), pretty sure it's a standard. Candy Apple Red in color, white pickguard with the little black pinstripe around the edge. My camera isn't the greatest, but I did take a few pics. Now I just need to figure out how to post them.[/img]
