I would like to find out about the specific neck profiles made by Fender for its long-scale solidbody guitar necks as used on the Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Jazzmaster guitars. I did some searching on this forum but was unable to find what I need.

In another thread, Fender Staff member Mike Eldred mentions that the "Last list I saw, we had 36 different shapes". Would it be possible to publish this list on this thread? As well, would it be possible to list what are the Fender neck widths at the nut for these neck profiles?

I find that, as I have gotten older, my neck preferences have become more specific, and this would make it much easier for me (and perhaps others) to select or specify the Fender guitars we want to purchase. I prefer larger necks and do not want to spend my time checking out guitars that do not have larger necks.

Among my current questions that would help me:

1 - what is the neck profile on the '62 Strat Vintage Hot Rod called?
2 - is this profile available on any other Fender guitars and, if so, which ones?

I tried one of these instruments and very much liked this neck, so I want to know if any other Fender instruments have this profile.

As well, I played an old Japanese-made Fender JD Telecaster and very much liked the neck.

3 - what is the neck profile on the MIJ JD Telecaster called?
4 - is this profile available on any other Fender guitars and, if so, which ones?

I own a 1991 Jeff Beck Stratocaster which has been heavily played over the years and am interested in finding a newer Fender with this neck profile. I was surprised to find that the necks on several Fender Custom Shop Nocaster guitars that I played were VERY similar to the neck on my old Jeff Beck Strat:

6 - is this profile available on any other Fender guitars and, if so, which ones?
