I don't know what Fender strat. I got I was hoping someone could help me because I'm looking to sell it. Serial number is E 923517. I don't know much about guitars but the body is a nice purple, pearl pick guard with a lever and two nob's. Not sure what the neck is but I will post pics when I get the chance I have to run off. Any help would be nice and thanks!

Hi you've come to the right place. We need pics. Try emailing the serial number to Fender customer service and they can tell you what it is. But if you got it at a pawnshop it might have been modded heavily by the previous owner(s). Maybe it's a genuine Fender neck on a Strat copy body. Who knows.

Is the purple a solid color, or can you see the wood grain through it?

Until you can get pic up, I'm going to say what you have is a lever equipped Fender Purplenobbercaster

Just had a quick look on this website, and your serial number is

E 923517

which corresponds to a 1989-1990 strat. The actual type of strat can't be determined until you get us some pics.
