i attended my family reunion for the first time in 20 years last weekend. 2 day jam fest. i took the MIM and brand new american special. my uncle whose health is not so good wanted to jam but didn't bring a guitar. i tuned my new strat to 440 and plugged it in for him. he played it more than i did and i think i enjoyed listening to him play it more than playing it myself.
me, i played the MIM since we tune down 1/2 step and left the new one for my uncle to jam on. all in all, both guitars got a thorough workout and i feel blessed that my uncle officially broke in my new strat. it's a memory i'll cherish forever and i'll post a pic when i figure it out again.
