Post subject: strat model?

my strat is either a 97 or 98 strat but i dont know wat model it is? its a usa made guitar but id like to know the model any ideas?

Do you happen to have the SN number? We could look up the model based off of that

I don't see anything on that serial number. Are there any letters with it?

Well, there are more ways to find the date. First go to www.guitarnucleus.com and look at Fender SN's. If you can't find it there, then look under the pickguard, in the neck socket, and maybe even the neck. A date might be somewhere in these places.
