Post subject: Tuning a VG Strat

Just a random thought I had the other day. Would tuning the VG strat away from standard result in just a garbled mess on the alternate tunings, or would you be able to get some cool sounds? For instance, if you downtuned a full step, could you instead of DADGAD have CGCFGC? And would it sound normal, or would the digital processor just garble it up?

just morbid curiosity on my part
