Love that color myself! I must have missed something. What happened to you custom body???? This will be nice!

No custom body... This one gave me a run for my money  I'm just glad I could get it to a point where the finish can cure. I reckon to have him together by Thanksgiving. :D

Dumb me, I was getting this build confused with Andy's! Sorry about that. Where did you get the paint and paint code for shooting this?

No problem 8) -- The color is ReRanch Fender Vintage Blonde :D

I've never really seen that kind of finish before, with the grain showing, I like it! :) The combination of that colour with the neck is gonna look lovely, cant wait to see (and hear!) the finished product!

And the headstock logo is awesome 8)

All the best,

Man, I'm dying here!

This guitar looks great. What's the real harm in putting this thing together now. After all, I do need a backup for the gold strat at the gig next Saturday.

I think maybe it'll be OK 8). I can use it for the gig and then take it apart and sand a polish it -- nobody will know....

Long time no here....I'm impressed. One of my favorite finishes. The nexk logo well done. Just take your dose regularly and you'll get through it. Be playing in no time. 8) Save me a long read and tell me what the power plant will be? I don't know what your preferences are but IMHO, EMG SA's would look great in there. So would Lace Sensors. A clean look.

It's so good looking, I'm even starting to like the 70's headstock on it.

Patience Kozy. Get the thing finished before you put it togeter mate.

I'm looking at that too and I'm thinking that it occurs to me that he's laid the logo down along the line of the vintage headstock. As well, the size and the color of the lettering breaks up the massiveness of that headstock and gives it a lighter feel.

The pup config is a vintage set of Bill Lawrence L250s. A set-up for the true madman!

Doc I must agree. The lettering on the headstock absolutely makes it.

Kozy that thing is going to be great with them BL's in it.

Those pickups will look very cool (not to mention sound great) in this guitar due to the color of both and the blade....wow. Very very nice!

Kozy that is truly a beautiful guitar. Well done!!

BUT I think I was right... that was never thirty days there, mate! ;-)

Better let it cure, don't risk losing that prime finish, and working it again...

Anyway, have fun! :)

I have to agree here. I don't usually care for the 70's headstock, but this one looks so fantastic and goes so great with the overall look of the guitar. Those pickups are going to look great as well! Really top notch work Mr Kozy.

Respect,
~Kong
