I know that the American Standard HSS has the S-1 switch removed to make the operation as simple as possible, but they're many players liking the versatility of the "older" American Series HSS and the extra crunch provided by the "blower" switch actually found on the "new" Deluxe Series HSS.

It's possible to have the American Standard HSS with both the S-1 and the Passing Lane?

I don’ think Fender have got the wiring diagrams for the 2010 models up yet and I can’t tell for sure until I see how the blower switch is wired.

That said, I believe the blower switch is to by-pass the pots so it shouldn’t be too hard to install a latching SPDT switch between the pickup selector and the "in tap" on the S-1 vol pot and straight out to the jack. I’m not 100% on that though.
