Greetings Strat lovers,
My question is. Although i have seen countless strats with Floyd rose trem's on them some U.S some MIJ some not too sure. I was wondering if there might one day be a Strat made as a standard model without going through the custom shop. And yes in good ol" U.S of A in good ol' Corona California. Now i'm certainly not picking on the other ones, some good some great and some crap! But with that being said" maybe somebody could wisper a little suggestion into the ears of the powers that may be. You know you probably would not even be able to keep em in stock from them selling so fast. It might even be a pre order due to the demand! Just a thought. Thanks for the listen! 8)

I share the same sentiment. They did away with the FR Strats years ago, leaving the MIM Std FR. That said, I have played many FR Strats and I do believe that there is little difference and the MIM Std range is darned good quality when compared to the higher priced ones. The neck on a MIM is the best I have had in a while :)

I wouldn't count on a FR Strat from Corona anytime soon. If you go for a MB CS prepare to pay for it. The demand is there, but not enough for fender to be satisfied enough to bring production to the USA.

You could get one on Ebay for a good price if you are paitent enough. Fender's answer is "we can make it for you" but just be known that Ebay will be the more sensible option price wise as they arent that expensive. I think you could be in Customshop MB territory, I would have to sell my car just to place an order for one myself

Charvel make great guitars in Strat and Tele shape in some crazy colours with FR trems on them :)

It probably will never happen because Fender own Jackson guitars. Fender is more rock in roll, country, blues, and jazz. Jackson is a shredding heavy metal type with those Floyd Rose tremolos...

Strat with a Floyd Rose you say?

If you don't want MIM (the Guitar Center by me has two used ones and they are NICE!) then I say Charvel! They're made right here in Corona with several different color/pickup options and Floyd Rose tremolos. And since they're now owned by Fender, they retain the traditional strat style headstock.
