jr,
It's an nod to the fact that Fender is ....... someone else's logo.

Sometimes, I get a kick out of the copyright wars.
I wonder why no one ever got a copyright for the words we use.
Every song, book, letter, advertisement, web post, text message
would be chocked full of royalties to the original copyright holder.

Imagine, the word "is". What if that word alone was copyrighted?
etc. etc. etc.

You're not likely to unless you encounter a collector who owns one and yes they are :!:

That's some cool looking stuff. Love the Amp face. Seems almost complicated just to turn it on! But the old Caddy! Too cool!!!!

I can't help but think that this one's already been through the courts. The car and the amp are about the same vintage. The CS logo, if memory serves me some, was redesigned at least 40 years after that because the CS inception was in the mid-80's I believe, and the old logo was quite different. I'm sure somebody out there has the gory details, and I have no doubt that Chromeface will produce a run of pics.

Speaking of the CS Logo, Compare "Custom Shop" script with the "Cadillac" script on this custom Ghia.

That's no accident.
I owned a 1953 Cadillac Coupe de Ville back in the 80s and I'll be the first to point out that that was one beautiful car.

Compare with 57 Chevrolet script

Remember, Fender has been using GM colors on it's guitars for a long time.

Everybody copies somebody.
