Thanks guys. Although I've got loads of ideas in theory, perhaps the easiest is to add a switch for the gilmour modification, and another to put the bridge and middle in series, and perhaps another to reverse the phase on the neck pick up. Then I can do one at a time and see how I get on.

Anyone know of any good diagrams/ explanations for these?

Tom

Between us I reckon we can sort you out with a few diagrams then as you say, you can pick and choose.

I'll see if I can post something for you tonight (uk time) if not tomorrow.

Andy

I think I might have it.

How about wiring the bridge and middle pickup like a telecaster with a 4-way switch: 1. Brick/ Neck series. 2. Neck. 3. Bridge/ Neck parallel. 4. Bridge

like this: http://diyguitarmods.com/diyprojects/4- ... /index.php

then send this to one of the tones and to one side of a 3-way switch.

Wire the neck pickup to the other tone and then to the other side of the 3-way so that the 3-way switch changed between 1. neck. 2. neck and mid-bridge combo. 3. mid-bridge combo.

Send this to the volume and then the output.

What do you think?

Nice one! :D

I reckon you might also be able to have phase switch for the neck pup before it goes to the 3 way. Bonus!

Your plan sounds much better than mine!

I've made a diagram of what i think will alow for all your desired pick up combos and standard five way strat switching, but I'm not totally sure it's a worker. Its got some werid switching going on and I haven't quite got my head round it! If you or Chet (or anyone else) fancys a look at it, let me know and i'll post it here.

Also, Have you had a go with the S-1 switching system?

Andy
