I played one and love it! Now I am pulling the trigger on one in 3 color Sunburst with gold hardware. Anyone here have one and what are your thoughts?

hey, i used to own a deluxe players strat...it was actually my first.
I had the honey blonde/rosewood neck.

It was really a nice guitar, I kick myself for trading it but at the time I was always playing my highway one.
The neck was real comfortable, I wasn't a huge fan of that button though.
Seems it didn't do any good for me when it was engaged...maybe it was just my playing though :D

I dont' own one but I've played several in stores. They all struck me as pretty nice instruments and well-built. I especially like the vintage appointments and string spacing. The crimson and sapphire transparent finishes don't do a thing for me with a tortoise-shell pickguard but the honey white and 3TSB look swell over the ash body. The only gripe I have with it is the 12" radius fretboard but I know on this count I'm in the minority. Light that fuse, troop......!

I don't have one, but I can say its an awesome guitar. I have a different model deluxe series. Primarily because the Deluxe Players in stock didn't have any in white.... Bummer... As for your guitar, the hardware is really cool and the noiseless PU's are awesome. I'm thinking of switching mine, but I finally got my pickups to where they sound good....

I have the sunburst/rosewood model. It is now my #1 Strat (once I replaced those anemic pickups).
