I know that these days, unless you order a Japanese Strat, the only color you can get is three tone. I found an early two thousand, lefty, that claims it's a custom color vintage white USA '62 reissue. Is that unusual? Anyone know when that type of thing stopped?

Southpaws have periodically been available in a limited selection of custom colors over the years -- Fiesta Red, Oly White, and Black being the most common.
