I've online checking out Greg Coch. My first knowledge of Mr. Koch was on the Disk that came with my Stratocaster history book. It had interviews and samples of many famous Strat players. I had no idea at the time that all of these sounds came from one man.

A tip of my hat to Mr. Koch for being an outstanding guitarist.

Did you know? Greg had his own signature Fender guitars built by the Custom Shop. These limited edition runs were exclusively crafted for Cream City Music (http://www.creamcitymusic.com).

The Gristleman is no slouch and can hold his own with any other guitarist, IMO.

I've seen him perform live at a Hal Leonard seminar. The man is a monster, and funny as hell, too. Bought his CD, and he autographed it for me. I came in second place in the trivia contest, and won a copy of his DVD. He is just too cool.

Yep, very talented player and a funny guy to boot. He did the CD that comes with the seminal Stratocaster Chronicles book by Tom Wheeler (I think someone else might have referred to this as well).

He is/was (not sure now) one of Fender's big guns, wheeled out as a demonstrator come company showman at major development and retail shows.

I've watched two interesting vids of him showing his signature models in action.

Greg is a serious Tele wrangler, as well as a notorious Strat abuser, that's why he really deserves a Fender signature model hand-built by the Custom Shop staff!
