Hi,
I'am owning a black 2003 showmaster, but each time I played it, I have to clean the body.
Does anyone knows how to give these guitar body's a lasting shine, or how do you keep your highway one black body nice and clean, maybe with houshold tips?

Thank you very much

Are you talking about fingerprint and arm smudges?
If so, spit and a terry towl with a daub of elbow grease.
If the spittal in your mouth grosses you out then Maguier's 26 yellow carnauba car wax will do. but use soft terry towel only.
This is for the painted body only - not for the neck.

Better than car wax:
Smith Pro Polish and terry towel works real well on my accoustics and
should be just fine for electrics - no need to worry about bare wood
but be sure to wipe it off metal surfaces.

I use the pink stuff.

I have 2 flat black Highway One Stratocaster HSS's.....one with a white pickguard, the other...tortoise shell.

This , by far , is THE finest cleaning coth I've EVER used!! I'm AMAZED by the results I get after each jam!

I just did this today on my flat black and used an expensive car wax/ polish/ scratch remover (all in one) purchased from Wal-mart and buffed it with a microfiber polish pad.... got it all shiny and purdy :) !!!

Side note- just slapped in a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge today as well (after a year and a half of stock pup) and I am AMAZED at how articulate this guitar sounds now....[/img]
