Hi guys. I just bought a used Mexican Strat, and I'm trying to find out more about it. It's a 1996/97 Strat, the fingerboard is maple I think (it's light colored) with a bright yellow body (antique white??), white pick guard and chrome hardware. Pickups are different than most - the bridge pickup looks like two pickups side-by-side. Is it a humbucker?
Does anyone know if Fender can give me more info by the serial number? Such as type of pickups, paint color, etc.
I thought it might be a tex-mex version, but it doesn't look like the ones on the website (though they are American made).

Sounds like a Standard HSS; yes, it's humbucker. Not sure about the color.
